Short Description:

The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the basic principles of research methodology and academic writing. 

Objectives - Learning Outcomes:

With regard to learning outcomes, students will be able to:
• Develop complex strategies to search for information about a topic
• Perform complex searches in bibliographical databases
• Implement strategies for the synthesis of scientific work
• Evaluate the information
• Draw up bibliographical references using the Chicago, Harvard, MLA, APA reference boxes.

 

As regards general competences, in particular:

• Search, analysis and synthesis of data and information, using the necessary technologies
• Decision-making
• Autonomous work
• Promoting free, creative and inductive thinking
