The Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting (DFLTI) offers postdoctoral research opportunities to researchers having already obtained a PhD in areas that fall within its institutional research interests.
The duration of the postdoctoral research is at least 12 months starting with the date when the Assembly approved the proposal and cannot, in any case, exceed 36 months.
Postdoctoral researchers pay no fees, and are not entitled to any remuneration by the Ionian University or DFLTI. They can apply, however, for a scholarship or grant from other scholarship providing institutions.
