Upon completing the course, the students will be able to:
● Analyse and reformulate passages
● to know and apply in practice the techniques and skills of consecutive interpreting by
simulating professional environment
● produce public speech and deliver speeches in front of an audience
● know how to research and prepare for consecutive interpreting on all topics
• Consecutive interpreting of speeches of general content by note taking.
• Consecutive interpreting of specialised speeches by note taking
• Preparing for a conference: speakers, keynote speakers, interpreters, participants.
• Mock conferences
