The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Education and International Studies of OsloMet - Oslo Metropolitan University and the DFLTI of the Ionian University opens new paths for the two institutions.

The UNESCO Chair on Threats to Cultural Heritage, the Laboratory for Geocultural Analyses (GEOLab), Department F.L.T.I. and the Laboratory for the Documentation of Cultural & Historic Heritage, Department ALMS of the Ionian University organised on 15th March 2023 18:00-20:30 a hybrid Workshop "Threats to Cultural Heritage: normative and ethical approaches and contradictions".

On August 11, 2022, the inaugural workshop took place in the framework of the collaboration between the UNESCO Chair of the Ionian University with the Institute of Studies on the Mediterranean Rim of China's Zhejiang University of International Studies.

Upon an invitation of UNESCO to the Chair on Cultural Heritage and Cultural Heritage related Activities the Ionian University is participating to the UNESCO virtual Campus conference-debate on "How to fight against illicit trafficking of Cultural Objects?"

DFLTI and the Educational Centre of the Embassy of Iran have signed a memorandum of scientific and cultural cooperation.

DFLTI and the European Commission co-organise an online Translating Europe Workshop on Friday, December 3, 2021.

A programme for those who wish to acquire knowledge in the unlimited thematic of cultural heritage and culture through an interdisciplinary approach, to enhance their competitive abilities for examinations, participation in undergraduate or postgraduate programs, or for vocational retraining, and for those interested in the issues of cultural heritage, tourism and the threats and dangers they face.
