The interdisciplinary research team, led by Associate Professor Vilelmini Sosoni of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting at Ionian University and comprising George Mikros, Professor of Computational and Quantitative Linguistics at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar; Kelly Polychroniou, Professor of Modern Greek and Director of the Modern Greek Program at Boston University; and Vasilis Manousakis, the book's author as well as a translator, mental health counselor, and teaching staff at the University of Patras, implemented an innovative methodology that harnessed AI for translation, post-editing following a specialized set of guidelines, and human creativity. The translation was carried out by students in the Modern Greek Program at Boston University: Anastasia Angelakis, Ximena Gomez-Arceo, Morgan Hartwell, Artemios Kayas, Alexia Koulikourdis, Isabella Kyprios, Rebecca Lorentzatos, Alexander Pissios, Anastasia Rigas, Constantino Themelis, and Yiyang Xu. The editing was overseen by Vilelmini Sosoni and Vasilis Manousakis. The translation is now available from Liotrivi Publications - Panagiota Sarafi, and masterfully conveys the noir intrigue, romantic realism, and introspective narratives to a global English-speaking audience, preserving the cinematic essence and emotional depth of the original.

The book presentation will take place on October 25 in Boston, at the 11th Biennial MGSA Pedagogy Workshop hosted by Boston University, and on January 10 in Athens at Zatopek bookstore.
