In this course, scientific texts with interdisciplinary background are examined and translated, such as texts of both technical and medical content, modern scientific texts from the field of medicine, biotechnology, etc.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will:
- Deepen their knowledge on issues related to technical translation and will able to translate technical texts of increased difficulty from Greek into German.
- Successfully respond to the German/Greek language conventions required for special translation and recognize the peculiarities of German/Greek terminology.
- Use technical dictionaries with ease.
- Be able to translate technical-scientific texts of increased difficulty.
