Upon completing the course, the students will be able to:
● Analyse and reformulate speeches
● Use effectively the techniques of consecutive interpreting by simulating a professional
environment
● Use effectively the techniques of simultaneous interpreting by simulating a professional
environment
● Know the research methodology and skills of simultaneous interpreting
● Deliver speeches in front of an audience
● Participate in a mock conference
- Interpreting of general content texts using note taking
- Interpreting of specialised speeches using note taking
- Preparing for a conference (speakers, keynote speakers, interpreters, participants)
