Short Description:
Τhe course is structured  around language exercises that aim to get the student acquainted with the various varieties of spoken German. The course also focuses on the production of different types of spoken language. Students practice in the oral production of different kinds of discourse, such as political discourse, discourse of economics, humor, etc. Students practice spoken language production based on written, oral or multimodal stimuli and are asked to respond to complex communicational challenges. Live and spontaneous production of oral discourse plays a central role.
 

 

Objectives - Learning Outcomes:
Objectives of the course are:

• Familiarization of students with different aspects of German spoken language.

• The development of oral communication skills in the German language and the improvement of pronunciation.

• The development of improvised oral communication skills.

• Developing the basic principles of debate.
