Poetry, prose fiction, theatre, literary criticism in the Ionian Islands in the 19th and early-20th c. Language and culture, European movements and influences, literary translation.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
- know aspects of the Ionian School (Solomos, Kalvos etc.)
- be aware of literary criticism
- recognize authors, literary genres, works etc.
- evaluate specific titles, topics etc.
