In this course, scientific texts with interdisciplinary background are examined and translated, such as texts of both technical and medical content, modern scientific texts from the field of medicine, biotechnology, etc.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will:

• Deepen their knowledge on issues of technical translation and will able to translate technical texts of increased difficulty from German into Greek.
• Successfully respond to the German language conventions required in specialised translation and will recognize the peculiarities of German terminology.
• Easily use technical dictionaries and databases.
• Be able to translate technical texts of various topics successfully. Focus will be placed on scientific texts.
