During the course specialised texts are examined and translated aiming at specific age groups; such as medical texts, specialized text websites for the general public, popular science texts, websites using specific terminology and addressed to a specific audience etc.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will:

• Learn how to use technical dictionaries, regarding German business terminology (Firmenbranding).
• They deepen their knowledge on issues related to the translation of scientific texts and text popularization.
• Be able to translate technical texts. Focus will be placed on web page translation and localization principles.
• Learn to adapt their terminological and language choices to a specific target audience.
