Short description: The main purpose of the course is to apply the so far acquired knowledge of the German language in different communicative contexts. In addition, this course cultivates both linguistic creation and linguistic improvisation in a series of different texts types to be produced. For this purpose, specialized exercises are applied in the field of teaching German as a foreign language with a gradual increase in the degree of difficulty and at levels C1-C2.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
- create complex syntactic structures in the German language
- apply the basic principles of textuality to the production of written language in German
- effectively apply different text writing techniques in German
- apply their knowledge in the production of a series of texts types with a specific communicative frame and communication purpose
- effectively address the challenges of language creation and improvisation in the German language
• cultivate their linguistic sense in German so that they are able to understand in depth and in contrast structural and cultural differences between German and Greek.

10th week:Production of text with a specific communicative context and purpose: spreading a rumor. (C2)
11th week:Production of text with a specific communicative context and purpose: fairy tale. (C2)
12th week:Production of text with a specific communicative context and purpose: essay on the differences and similarities between German and Greek mentality. (C2)
13th week: Production of text with a specific communicative context and purpose: letter to the Chancellor. (C2)

Face-to-face delivery/ Electronic material available covering the entire syllabus. Material is available through the e-class platform and is the basis for the translation exercises. Students are asked to prepare the translations and present them in class.
