Fairy-Tale Research and Translation. The fact that in the field of the research on the literary genre of fairy tale met at times not only philologists and folklorists, but also historians, ethnographers, sociologists, educators, psychologists and religionists, confirms the multifaceted scientific interest in this particular type of folk oral literature with formulating most theories and views from the different perspective of each specialty, and makes it perhaps the ideal example of the "cultural turn" in literary translation. Therefore, the research on the origin of the story, its source, its importance and its function, its symbolism and motifs, on the cross-cultural transmission, that means the phenomenon of multiple existence of fairytales in many cultures and peoples and on the relationship of the genre with other kinds of narrative, e.g. myths and traditions, precede the laboratory part of the course.
