The course deals with the translation of poetry and its particular characteristics. We will start again with creative writing exercises, this time related to the poetic writing, following the principle of Walter Benjamin, that the translator of poetry can impart the elusive, mysterious and poetic element, only if he becomes, even for short, a poet, juggling - of course - between the indefinite value of the "content" and the sterile decanting of a "particular message". The poetic production of German (and "black") Romanticism is offered especially as a springboard for this leap into the void.
