In this course the knowledge acquired in the previous level regarding grammar, syntax and vocabulary are promoted. Special attention is given to the translation from Turkish to Greek of texts of medium difficulty and also translation from Greek to Turkish of easy texts.
The desirable learning outcomes are:
- Understanding and translation of texts with vocabulary of high frequency, which regards mainly description of facts and emotions.
- Acquiring basic up to advanced knowledge of the Turkish language, which is necessary to the student in order to understand and translate texts of medium difficulty as far as grammar, syntax and vocabulary is concerned.
- Learning the Turkish language through translation of text of medium difficulty.
familiarization of students with the way of thinking of the neighboring country, as expressed through language codes

Face to face / In this course a combination of new grammar knowledge is done (see new and relatively complex structures) and vocabulary with the presentation of texts of medium difficulty, which contain the two previous elements. Moreover, there is solving of exercises and offering of studying material (audio and visual material, notes) in opencourses platform.
The use of new technologies constitutes the basis of teaching the class. In this way, the relevant grammatical phenomena and exercises but also the translation of texts are all proceed through visual interaction with the students.
The evaluation of students is done exclusively through written examination in the end of the semester. The examination comprises of translation, Turkish-Greek and Greek-Turkish of unknown text of medium difficulty. The type of examination is uploaded in opencourses.
