Efrosini Avgerinou

Efrosini Avgerinou is a graduate of the Department of Law of the Faculty of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace. She holds a master’s degree in “Management of Cultural Information” from the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Faculty of Information Science and Informatics of the Ionian University.

She practiced law from 1997 to 2010, as a lawyer of the Corfu Bar Association. She was Legal Advisor of the Development Enterprise of the Municipality of Corfu. Since December 2010 she worked initially at the Ministry of Finance, then at the Independent Public Revenue Authority - Corfu Tax Office as a grade A’ tax inspector with grade A', and in the Department of Judicial and Legal Support as a public revenue collection auditor.

Since August 2020, she has been serving at the Ionian University, initially as Deputy Head of the Financial and Administrative Support Unit, and from October 2022 as Head of the Secretariat of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation of the Faculty of Humanities.
