Styliani Bika is an Appointed Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting, with a specialization in Italian Language.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Italian Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and two Master's degrees: one in Language Technology (AUTh) and another in Italian Language and Culture. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on Visual Literacy, Art, and Literature in Education (AUTh).

She has extensive teaching experience in higher education, having taught Italian Language at the School of Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers (SMY) and having served as an Academic Fellow at the University of Ioannina, where she taught various undergraduate courses. Additionally, she has worked as an Italian Language Instructor in Lifelong Learning Centers (KDBM), at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA), as well as in various private institutions.

Her research interests focus on culture, literature, and art, examined through the lens of semiotics, as well as the integration of technological tools in foreign language teaching. Furthermore, she is an Oral Examiner for the Greek State Certificate of Language Proficiency.

She has participated as a speaker in scientific conferences and is a member of various academic associations.
