Το μάθημα καλύπτει
τα ζητήματα προστασίας και ασφάλειας της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και των σχετικών με αυτή δραστηριοτήτων όπως ο τουρισμός. Το μάθημα περιλαμβάνει διαλέξεις από τον διδάσκοντα, ειδικούς εξωτερικούς συνεργάτες και τους ίδιους τους φοιτητές, σε θέματα προστασίας, διαχείρισης και ανάδειξης της φυσικής και πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς.
Στους στόχους του μαθήματος περιλαμβάνεται η απόκτηση τόσο αναλυτικής όσο και συνθετικής σκέψης πάνω στο συγκεκριμένο ζήτημα, μέσα από την αναζήτηση, ανάλυση και σύνθεση δεδομένων και πληροφοριών, με τη χρήση των απαραίτητων τεχνολογιών. Ιδιαίτερη σημασία έχει η απόκτηση ικανοτήτων συλλογής και ερμηνείας στοιχείων, διαμόρφωσης κρίσεων και προτάσεων σε θέματα ασφάλειας, προστασίας και ανάδειξης της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και του τουριστικού προϊόντος στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό.
Με την ολοκλήρωση του μαθήματος, οι φοιτητές θα μπορούν να:

εξοικειωθούν με την έννοια και το περιεχόμενο της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και του διεθνούς καθεστώτος προστασίας της
-
αναγνωρίσουν την ποσοτική και ποιοτική διάσταση των απειλών κατά της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και του τουρισμού
-
κατανοήσουν τη σχέση και τις συνέργειες του τουρισμού με την πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς
-
αντιμετωπίσουν αποτελεσματικά προκλήσεις που σχετίζονται με την χάραξη πολιτικών για την προστασία της υλικής και άυλης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και την λήψη αποφάσεων σε εθνικό και διεθνές επίπεδο για την επίλυση κρίσεων σχετικά με τον τουρισμό
Στο πρώτο διδακτικό ημίχρονο καλύπτεται με διάλεξη-παράδοση, ενώ κατά το δεύτερο, σεμιναριακό σκέλος ακολουθεί ελεύθερη δημόσια συζήτηση, των θεματικών που παρουσιάστηκαν στις διαλέξεις, όπως και των εργασιών που παρουσιάζουν οι φοιτητές. Στόχος είναι η άσκηση ‘παρρησίας και ισηγορίας’ των φοιτητών. Από το έκτο μάθημα και εφεξής συγκεκριμένοι φοιτητές/-τριες παρουσιάζουν δημόσια το θέμα εργασίας τους, πάντα συναφές με το αντικείμενο του σεμιναρίου, το οποίο έχουν διερευνήσει, πραγματευτεί και αναπτύξει.

To μάθημα έχει την υβριδική μορφή διάλεξης-σεμιναρίου- εργαστηρίου. Βασίζεται σε μεγάλο μέρος στο διάλογο με τους φοιτητές στις παρουσιάσεις και στα σχόλιά τους. Γίνεται χρήση εποπτικών μέσων, διαφανειών και εργαστηριακών ασκήσεων. Διατίθεται υλικό που καλύπτει όλη τη διδακτέα ύλη. Η διάθεση του υλικού αυτού γίνεται μέσω της πλατφόρμας e-class.
Χρήση Τ.Π.Ε. στη Διδασκαλία
Επιζητείται η δημιουργική ενεργοποίηση στο διάλογο της τάξης και η συνολική αξιολόγηση του μαθήματος απαρτίζεται από τα εξής τρία σκέλη.
1ον Αξιολογείται η διαρκής παρουσία και η κριτική διαλογική συμμετοχή των φοιτητών, συμπεριλαμβανόμενης και της αξιολόγησής τους έναντι των συμφοιτητών. Αυτό συνεπάγεται ότι οι παρουσίες των φοιτητών αξιολογούνται θετικά και ότι οι απουσίες δεν μπορούν να υπερβαίνουν το 30% συνολικά.
2ον Αξιολογείται η προφορική παρουσίαση από κάθε φοιτητή ενός ελεύθερα επιλεγμένου θέματος, στο πλαίσιο του σεμιναριακού σκέλους του μαθήματος.
3ον Οι φοιτητές αξιολογούνται με το γραπτό, ολοκληρωμένο δοκίμιο -στο ίδιο θέμα- παραδοτέο στο τέλος του εξαμήνου. Το καθένα από αυτά τα διακριτά μέρη αξιολογείται με 1/3 του συνολικού βαθμού. Στους επιτυχόντες απονέμεται πιστοποιητικό επιτυχούς παρακολούθησης.
Για να βαθμολογηθούν οι εργασίες θα πρέπει να εμπεριέχουντην εξής δήλωση:“η παρούσα εργασία έχει γίνει από εμένα τον/την ίδιο/α και δεν εμπεριέχει αντιγραφή ή λογοκλοπή”.
Τα κριτήρια αξιολόγησης γίνονται γνωστά κατά τη διάρκεια της πρώτης διάλεξης και είναι διατυπωμένα ξεκάθαρα στο υλικό που προσφέρεται στο e-class του μαθήματος.
