Liakou Evangelia: Curriculum VitaeEvangelia Liakou has studied at Ionian University, Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting. She has acquired a BA in Translation, a BA in Interpreting, an MA in Science of Translation and in 2021 she completed her PhD studies at said department. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on audio description techniques for Greek cinema. She has attended classes in Translation and German Language at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Spanish language courses at Pontifical University of Salamanca. During her studies, she participated in numerous international conferences and congresses. She is an editorial assistant for JAT- Journal of Audiovisual Translation and a member of PEEMPIP- Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University.
