Foteini N. Chaireti studied History and Archaeology at the University of Crete. She holds an MA in Turkology and a PhD in Ottoman History from the University of Crete. She has taught at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University and the Postgraduate Program “Methodology of Criticism and Publication of Historical Archival Sources” of the History Department of the Ionian University, as well as at the Department of Traditional Music of the University of Ioannina. The courses she has taught are: Turkish Language, Ottoman Palaeography and Ottoman Diplomatics.
Foteini N. Chaireti has participated in international conferences and has published articles in scientific journals and edited collections. As an academic teaching fellow at the Ionian University, she teaches Turkish Language and History of Turkish Literature in the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting.
