The Laboratory for Geocultural Analyses (GEOLAB) was founded in 2002 and aims at international collaborations and actions.
Field of research
GEOLAB serves the research and educational needs related to the following fields of:
- International Relations and International Economic Relations
- Economic Geography and Geopolitics
- Political Science and Comparative Law
- History of Diplomacy and Intercultural Studies
- European Institutions
- Foreign Languages, Countries and Civilizations
Actions of GEOLAB
The highly interdisciplinary research and academic work of the Laboratory is supported by individual actions and research programmes.
The Laboratory publishes in various languages. As far as monographs and books are concerned, they are published in collaboration with Papazisis Publications. The researchers of the Laboratory publish articles, working and briefing papers and newsletters.
The Laboratory contributes to the public debate on national and international issues by participating, hosting, or organizing scientific conferences, one-day workshops and round tables.
