The academic community of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting (DFLTI) of the Ionian University (IU) promotes academic ethics and is opposed to any form of academic misconduct (e.g. plagiarism).
The MA "Science of Translation" follows and implements the Code of Ethics and Good Practice of the IU.
DFLTI and the academic community is opposed to plagiarism, namely the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
The MA "Science of Translation" has taken strict measures against plagiarism in order to prevent it in assignments and MA theses. For monitoring plagiarism, the MA programme makes also use of the TurnItIn plagiarism control software.
