As soon as you have applied for MA in Security and Cultural Heritage Studies (SCHER), the university will start to process your application. On this page you can find more information about the process of your application and the documents you have to submit.
Step 1: Application file complete
Once we receive your application, the Postgraduate Studies Secretariat will first check your application file for completeness. Is your application file complete?
No: If a document is missing or does not meet the required standards, we will let you know by email and you will be able to upload a new document in the Online Application Platform.
Yes: Once your application is complete and your educational credentials evaluated, we forward your file to the Candidate Evaluation Committee (CAC) of the MA in Security and Cultural Heritage Studies (SCHER), which will then assess your eligibility.
Step 2: Admission decision
If your Master’s application is successful, you will receive an official letter of acceptance from the MA SCHER (Department of Foreign Languages Translation and Interpreting, Ionian University). Make sure to read this letter, the accompanying email, and any other attachments thoroughly.

If your offer is conditional, you will be admitted after fulfilling certain requirements. These requirements and your deadline to fulfill them are stated in your letter of conditional acceptance. If you fulfill all conditions before the specified deadline, you will receive a letter of unconditional acceptance, and you can officially enroll in the program.

If your offer is unconditional, you are fully admitted and can officially enroll in the Master’s program.

A letter of conditional acceptance may contain one or more conditions like:

Your bachelor's university has to be inserted in the Greek accredited university list.
