The Ionian University is organizing Research Day on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, with the aim of promoting and disseminating the research activity that has been carried out or is currently underway at the Institution to the public.

The first phase of the pioneering research project titled How Can MT and PE Help Literature Cross Borders and Reach Wider Audiences? A Case Study, funded by Translated's Research Centre Imminent, has been successfully completed with the publication of the English translation of the book Tango in Blue Nights—a captivating collection of 35 flash fiction stories by the author and translator Vasilis Manousakis.
