Course Details: 
In this course we focus on oral speech and we study, among others, intonation, rhetorical figures, syntax anomalies in discourse, body posture, using of gestures in combination with voice, the use of ellipsis. Theory is combined with practice and consolidation exercises include watching recorded videos and attempting an on-the-spot summary. Class work also includes identifying and interpreting exercises related to sound, gesture, vocal pitch and tone, pauses and repetition.
